I'm Javier, a PhD candidate at the CORPNET group (University of Amsterdam). Previously I was a Computer Science M.Sc. at The University of Vermont. My PhD project is on how transnational corporations minimize taxation by spreading their corporate structures in specific countries.

Research interests: (1) Computational Social Sciences: Corporate networks, tax avoidance, offshore finance. (2) Biological Complex Systems: Computational modelling, stochasticity in genetic networks, game theory and single-cell dynamics. (3) Data science: Web Scraping, machine learning, data visualization.
